Role: Commercial Manager
Contract Length: Until 18/12/26
Location: Predominantly remote with flexibility (typically attend the London office once per week, usually on Wednesdays)
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £529.95 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for a Commercial Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER
- Lead large procurement projects.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Develop procurement strategies and supporting documentation.
- Attend project, stakeholder and team meetings.
- Work closely with legal teams regarding commercial terms and conditions.
- Support contract and framework management activities.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCES OF THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER
- Significant procurement experience, particularly within services procurement rather than construction or materials.
- Public sector procurement experience.
- Experience leading large and complex procurement exercises.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
- Procurement strategy development and market analysis experience.
- Ability to manage procurement evaluations and commercial negotiations.
- Confidence working with legal teams on terms and conditions.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- SAP Ariba experience (not essential as training can be provided).
- Experience managing frameworks and supplier relationship management.
