Spinwell is recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
CLEANING SUPERVISOR JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ability to motivate staff and ensure standards are met and achieved across sites
- Must have experience of managing staff which will include induction and training, dealing with attendance and performance issues, maintaining and ordering stock/ supplies, booking annual leave, organising rota’s and cover for holidays and sickness
- Must have a good understanding of the English language both verbal communication and written text. The successful candidate will need to liaise with staff, other line managers and senior managers within the organisation
- Must have an understanding of health and safety particularly around COSHH requirements and the safe use of equipment, supervisors must have the ability to carry out safety checks on equipment and work areas and report any defects or faults
- Must be able to visit their specific sites on a daily and weekly basis. The supervisor will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle with insurance for business purposes
