Role: Charges Advisor REF 1730389
Contract Length: 3 months
Location: Hybrid/Redditch - 3 days per week on site
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £14.13 per hour


 

Spinwell is recruiting for a Charges Advisor for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CHARGES ADVISOR

  • Service charge administration related complaints and queries from customers ensuring that the customer experience is positive, professional and complaint, within set timescales
  • Support the annual rent and service charge setting process to ensure that estimates and actuals are comprehensive and accurate
  • With support and direction from Officers and Managers, you will be responsible for the collection and enforcement of former tenant charges and housing debts, including write off proposals where required
  • Analyse data and ensure charges are accurately applied to accounts and invoiced
  • Support investigations resultant from appeals, complaints, and enquiries and in the event of legal challenge, Judicial Review or Ombudsman Enquiry

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CHARGES ADVISOR

  • Experience of working in a financial, accounting, or income service
  • Knowledge and experience of using and interpreting data and customer accounts to provide advice
  • Knowledge of housing legislation or debt recovery
