Location: Hybrid/Andover – 3 days per week on site

Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate

Spinwell is recruiting for a Commercial Analyst for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMERCIAL ANALYST

  • Play an active and effective role in meetings, as a representative of the Commercial Function.
  • Lead a team, building their confidence and commercial capability to drive performance and manage setbacks.
  • Provide both decisive and educated leadership, facilitating the engagement and effectiveness of the commercial team. Successfully engage, lead, coach and inspire the team to reinforce the leadership values. Deliver all required line management activities to ensure the team deliver their objectives.
  • Ensure that activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and ethical considerations. Advance Government policy, including sustainability and social value, through all commercial relationships.
  • Contribute to the improvement of commercial awareness and capability across the organisation to ensure best practice is applied through all phases of the commercial lifecycle
  • Represent client with industry executives; and support the delivery of strategy and policy, as a senior leader.

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE COMMERCIAL ANALYST

  • Stakeholder Management and Engagement in a proactive way
  • Experience in a similar role, with outcomes
  • Communicating and delivering
  • Delivering at pace
  • Comfortable working with limited info, able to go find what needed, and be able to collate and present it.
  • Willing to present to senior stakeholders – findings and outcomes
  • Strong communicator
  • Familiar with MS Office, Excel, and SharePoint
  • MCIPs are highly desirable, or equivalent experience
  • Level 4 CIPs with CV to back up is ok.
  • Previous SRM experience.
